Blaine White is a Toronto based interdisciplinary artist. His racial background is black, white and some indigenous. Inspired by his experience as a Canadian raised on the US/Canada border, his practice bridges interests in painting, Canadian history, theatre, and the cinema. By combining traditional and contemporary imaging techniques, White creates pieces where we find the past and the present are not that dissimilar. He has work in collections in Ontario, Michigan and Ohio.
